Some links here earn us money. Here is exactly which ones and how.
The short version
Some pages on this site link to services we have a paid partnership with. If you follow one of those links and go on to pay for something, we may be paid a commission. It costs you nothing extra. It does not change what we write, and it does not change which pages the link appears on.
How to tell which links they are
Every page carrying one says so on the page itself, directly underneath the
link, in plain words rather than in a footer nobody reads. The links are also
marked in the page source with rel="sponsored", which is the
standard way of telling search engines that a link is paid.
A partner link never appears before the free part of a page. The order is always the same: what we have to say, then a calculation you can run for nothing, and only then a suggestion that you might want to talk to a person. If you never want that last part, everything above it still works and always will.
Who we work with
Advisor marketplaces where people offer readings and consultations. We do not place advertising for anyone else, we do not sell placement, and we run no advertising network on this site.
What we do not do
We do not recommend a service because it pays more. We do not write pages whose purpose is to funnel you into one. Nothing on this site is a paid review, and nobody has approval over what appears here.
We also do not pass anything about you to a partner. Following one of these links takes you to their site with nothing attached beyond the fact that you came from ours, and from that point their own privacy policy applies.
What we count
Partner links go through an address on this site before they leave it, so that we can count how often they are used. We record which link and when, and nothing about who. That is described in full on the privacy page.
